Red Fife is a heritage wheat which was first planted in 1842 in Ontario. It adds a nutty and earthy flavor with subtle hints of anise.

Stone milled with BC organic red fife wheat. This beautiful fluffy heritage wheat flour can be substitute any all purpose flour recipe.

All natural with zero additives. Means no bleaching agents, no synthetic vitamins, no preservatives. Just organic BC grown wheat.

Our fresh milled flour is whole grain milled then screened to remove larger pieces of bran.

  • 100% stone-milled, allows for the nutritional benefits of the whole grain

  • Extraction rate: 80% for sifted. Most of the oil-rich, protein and vitamin-packed germ and bran still intact.

  • Extraction rate: 100% for whole wheat. All the germ and Bran are intact.

  • Great source in protein, thiamin (B1), niacin (B3), magnesium, copper, and iron

  • To maximize freshness and shelf life we recommend storing fresh milled flour in the fridge or freezer which will keep the flour fresh for several months.
